Well, what a year it has been! We have all faced immense challenges to our lives and livelihoods, from our economy and businesses to our social, physical and mental health. Despite the nightmare that has been Covid-19, through the many challenges that it has posed for us all and especially to our industry, we have been working as hard as ever and we would like to thank you for your support! Whilst we have also seen some couples start the trend of “minimonies” and create their dream day on a smaller scale, most things have come to a standstill. However, we have powered on through and we always aim to be there for our wonderful customers wherever we can!
We are full of optimism and hope for 2021, with the vaccine rollout and plans for “normal” weddings to resume from Easter onwards, it offers some comfort to our 2021 couples, so many of whom have already had to postpone their big day many times. It also offers the likely possibility of Proms taking place in 2021, with virtually none happening in 2020, so it will be a great thing to celebrate our hardworking Year 11s, and we have also got the most fabulous collection of new styles arriving soon!
So, THANK YOU once again to our lovely, loyal brides, our fantastic, supportive designers, industry friends, fellow retailers and independent businesses.
Merry Christmas, although it will be smaller and stranger than normal, try to enjoy it as best as you can. We will be closed for Christmas and will reopen next Tuesday 29th December.
Now is the time to think ahead, to plan your big day and to see in the New Year with optimism!
